To the Editor:

I wish to express my gratitude for the beautiful celebration tendered to me and Bob Grossman at the Congregational Church this past Sunday. It was indeed heartwarming to see so many friends from years gone by.

I am particularly grateful to Pat Llodra, Donna Culbert and the VNA for sponsoring this most enjoyable event. I am particularly grateful for the opportunity it gave me to publicly express thanks to all of Newtown on behalf of my wife and family for the enormous privilege it has been  to dwell in this precious community and be shaped by its historic values and magnificent people during these 55 years.
