To the Editor:

Kathy Fetchick is a graduate of the Newtown school system and has an engineering degree from the University of Connecticut. She has chosen to live and raise her children in Newtown, believing here is a town with values and morals — a good place for families.

For more than four years Kathy has been our advocate. She listens to our concerns and frustrations. She researches our problems. She asks the “difficult” questions. She follows up with the information requested and keeps us informed. She returns our calls! She has heard the comment: “I can’t believe you called me back” numerous times. To Kathy, that’s what you do when you are an elected official. She listens. She researches and responds with the answers.

The dedication, effort, enthusiasm, fairness and intelligence offered by Kathy to Newtown as District 2 Representative on the Legislative Council deserves your consideration on Election Day.
