To the Editor:

It is our honor to support the candidacy of Will Rodgers for the position of selectman.

Will is an attorney. As such, Will is comfortable and proficient in the role of mediator, problem solver, and advocate when events require this expertise. His background provides him with necessary skills when interacting with other Newtown boards and government officials.

Will has demonstrated the ability to work  collaboratively with Pat Llodra on behalf of the citizens of Newtown. We are extremely grateful and proud of this team’s many accomplishments during the past term.

As proven over many years of generous public service, Will has shown integrity, leadership, and common sense — attributes critical for an elected official.
