To the Editor:

It is with enthusiasm and without reservation that I support Laura Roche for the Board of Education. Laura has demonstrated, through a variety of ways, her commitment to Newtown schools. She spent countless volunteer hours in the classroom at Sandy Hook School where she built a rapport with both the teachers and administrators and she continuously volunteers to help with PTA functions. Laura’s commitment extended to the Reed School where, when asked by Dr Epple, she joined a scheduling committee that worked to build continuity of instructions hours across all clusters.

Laura is a dedicated community member whose talents of organization and data analysis will allow her to make data-driven decisions. Laura is committed to listening to the voice of Newtown and will represent all citizens when elected. Laura has been diligent in attending BOE meetings for the past year and is current on many of the topics currently before the board. For these reasons, please join me in supporting Laura Roche on November 8 for the Board of Education.
