To the Editor:

I am writing to support Dan Honan for Legislative Council in District 2. I have known Dan for more than 20 years and have found him to be honest, ethical, and highly committed to the town of his birth.

As a lifelong resident of Newtown and business owner in town, Dan is a well-respected member of our community. He has volunteered his time with numerous groups, including the Newtown Rotary Club, Newtown Board of Fire Commissioners, member of Newtown Hook & Ladder Fire Company and is on the Board of Directors of Housatonic Area Regional Transit.

Dan is following in the footsteps of his father, Bill, who also served this community in many capacities, including as an elected official in Newtown.

Please join me in voting for Dan Honan on November 8.
