Halloween In Sandy Hook, Sat.

Sandy Hook Center will be home to a new event, The Sandy Hook Halloween Walk, on Saturday, October 29, from 10 am to 2 pm. Costumes are encouraged, of course, and trick-or-treaters can get a jump start on their candy collecting by visiting businesses in the Hook. Businesses will have signs posted to let children and their parents know where candy and treats will be given out.

A pumpkin carving contest  with pre-gutted pumpkins already prepared, will be ongoing at Stone River Grille, 1 Glen Road.

In addition, Ice Cream Heaven, at 10 Glen Road, will continue the fun with games, crafts, and more for children who visit the ice cream parlor between 2 and 4 pm.
