Fore! – Rock Ridge Golf Highlights

Rock Ridge Country Club golf highlights from this past week are as follows:

Thursday Men’s League: Dave Cornett led the field this week with 5 points. In second place was Dean Harvey with 3.5, followed by Jason Campbell with 3.

Friday Member/Guest: A full field came to play in the brisk October weather in the final Member/Guest tourney of the season. Coming in first place for gross was Michael Riccio and his partner Nick Hudyma, shooting a 73. First place for net was Mike Navin and his guest Jeff McKenzie, shooting a 6 under 64, followed by Tom Bartram and his guest Tom Burns with a 3 under 67.

Memorial Tournament: Seven twosomes came to play in the 2011 Memorial Tournament which featured 27 holes of Scramble, Pinehurst, and Alternate Shot to determine the winners. First place gross went to Tom Bartram and Graham Fyffe, shooting 114 (par 105). First place net went to Mike Portnoy and Bob McDonald, shooting a 12 under 93 and beating out runners up Janet Duffy and Susan Wallace by one shot.
