Working Womenâs Forum Presents Dale Allen
The Working Womenâs Forum, formerly known as Business and Professional Womenâs Club of Newtown, will present âIn Our Right Mindsâ by Dale Allen, âA Celebration of Women, the Sacred Feminine, and the Right Brain.â The presentation will take place on Monday, November 7, at the Fireside Inn.
âIn Our Right Mindsâ guides women to their strength as leaders. In a dynamic performance featuring myth, history, characters, comedy, original songs, art, and artifacts, Dale Allen conducts an exploration of the Goddess archetype and leads the audience to the discovery of how profoundly ancient wisdom can strengthen modern women. Participants should get ready to shake up old assumptions, delve deep into the foundation of collective psyche, and break ground for a new era.
Dale Allen is a 15-year veteran of business and commercial communications with hundreds of live presentations, voiceovers, and on-camera projects for BMW, General Electric, Canon, and more. She is an accomplished lecturer, facilitator, playwright, and actress.
âDale Allen speaks to the heart and soul of all women regardless of their personal historiesâ¦she reminds us how connected we are to one another and to our ancestral mothers and teachers,â said Dr Dale Atkins, nationally known psychologist, author, and host of Dr Daleâs Life Issues, a talk-show series on PBS.
The meeting will be held at Fireside Inn, 123 South Main Street. Networking begins at 6 pm. Dinner will be at 6:30 pm. Entrée choices are chicken Florentine, sirloin tips, and vegetable lasagna. Reservations along with entrée choices are due by Friday, November 4; call Kelly Urso, 364-1667. The cost for dinner will be $25.
The Working Womenâs Forum also is looking for a logo, Ms Urso said.
âHave any ideas? Bring them to the meeting and cast your vote. The winner of the logo contest will get dinner for free at the December 5 meeting,â she said.
The Working Womenâs Forum is an organization that provides a forum for working women to meet and grow professionally and personally through education, networking, and the sharing of ideas and experiences.
