The opening-inning attack was led by Jeff Grasso, David Lucia and Richard Sandler, who each hit long doubles and combined to score nine runs during the game. Ben Stoller smacked a bases-loaded single and knocked in three runs, and Nicky Sajovic, Dan Aurelia, Lucia and Sandler each had two RBIs.
Lucia pitched a scoreless inning and John Lebinski nailed down a save by retiring the gameâs last two batters.
The Tomahawksâ offense was led by Jon Hull, who scored twice and ripped an RBI single. Connor Blanc and Vikram Makayee also singled. Blanc struck out two Viper batters, retiring the side in order in the second inning.
