Thanks For The Pleasance

To the Editor:

On behalf of our group Circle of Friends (Widow/Widowers), we would like to take this opportunity to thank [The Newtown Bee and R. Scudder Smith] for The Pleasance. What a wonderful addition to our town. In particular, we enjoyed the Bocce court, which has been used since April on Monday mornings and Wednesday evenings. It has meant so much to us to have this great experience right here in our hometown.

Our only regret is that we have to conclude our outings now that the cooler weather is upon us. We look forward to the spring of 2006 with the hopes that our group will grow by leaps and bounds and occupy the court at least two or three times a week.
