WASHINGTON DEPOT — Film and stage star Lynn Redgrave, a survivor of breast cancer, will be mistress of ceremonies for “An Evening Of Song And Healing,” on Saturday, November 5, at Bryan Memorial Town Hall.

More than a dozen artists from Broadway and opera will join Ms Redgrave for a musical evening complete with wine and food from Litchfield County’s best chefs. The event begins with wine and hors d’oeuvres served from 6 to 7:30 pm followed by the concert at 7:30 pm.

General admission is $25 with children under 10 admitted free. Patrons who wish to donate to the event can choose to be a sponsor for a larger amount of $500, $250, or $100. To reserve tickets or receive further information, call 860-868-0569 (The First Congregational Church in Washington).

General tickets for $25 and sponsorship tickets will also be sold at the door.

Proceeds from the evening will go directly to New Milford Cancer Center and to help fund breast cancer research.
