Public Performances Planned—

Children’s Theatre & ‘Pinocchio’ To Visit St Rose

Missoula Children’s Theatre, the nation’s largest touring children’s theatre, will spend the week of October 31 through November 5 at St Rose School.

Two tour directors will arrive with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up... everything it takes to put on a play, except the cast. St. Rose students will audition for the play, between 50 and 60 are expected to be cast, and then they will spend the next week in daily rehearsals.

On Saturday, November 5, two public performances of Pinocchio will be presented.

Curtain will be at 2 and 7 pm in the St Rose Parish Hall, 40 Church Hill Road in Newtown. Tickets will be $10 for adults, $6 for 13 and under, and can be purchased through St Rose School; call 426-5102. Seating will be limited to 200 people per performance.

Missoula Children’s Theatre has provided quality education, entertainment and enrichment through the performing arts, for all ages, for nearly 30 years. This season alone nearly 50,000 children will participate in MCT productions.
