Mr and Mrs Charles Luther

Jennifer Bacsik of Denver, daughter of Mr and Mrs Alex Bacsik of Sandy Hook, and Charles Luther, Denver, son of Barbara Luther and the late James Luther of Littleton, Colo., were joined in marriage on June 25 at St Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Denver. The Rev Chrysostom Frank officiated.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an A-line, strapless gown of ivory satin and carried a hand-tied calla lily bouquet.

Maid of honor was Julie Treadow, Manchester, a cousin of the bride. Elise and Jessica Ruckert, cousins of the bride, from Middletown, N.Y., Sarah Demand of Denver, and Jocelyn Embree of Littleton, niece of the groom, served as bridesmaids. The attendants wore “Tiffany” strapless satin tea-length dresses of blue and carried hand-tied calla lily bouquets.

Best man was Roman Soria of Denver. Groomsmen were Derek Schrader, Denver, Trevor and Nicholas Embree, Littleton, nephews of the groom, and Michael Treadow of Manchester, cousin of the bride. Dexter Corley of Littleton and MacGregor O’Brien of Valencia, Calif., nephews of the groom, were ring bearers.

A reception was held at the Westin Hotel in Denver.

Mrs Luther is a graduate of Newtown High School and Providence College. She is currently attending the University of Colorado, working toward a master of social science degree. She is employed as a contract specialist by NICE Systems in Denver.

The groom graduated from Heritage High School in Littleton and the University of Northern Colorado. He is a technical engineer for Avaya Inc in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Following a cruise of the Hawaiian Islands, the couple is at home in Centennial, Colo.
