Helen A. Besse

Financial Consultant

Helen A. Besse, 66, of Newtown, died October 19 at Danbury Hospital. Ms Besse was born on March 31, 1939, in Bridgeport and was the daughter of Daniel and Mary Dzykewicz Besse.

She was a financial consultant, having worked for JTM Financial. Prior to that she worked for City Trust Bank for more than 30 years as an operations officer. She was also a volunteer at the Danbury 1st Knight.

Survivors include a brother, Robert A. Besse, Sr, and his wife, Rose, of Newtown; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms Besse was predeceased by three brothers, Elmer Besse, Walter Besse, and Richard Besse; and a sister, Wanda Cole.

A Memorial Mass was held October 22 at St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made in Ms Besse’s name to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton CT 06897.
