Loving Mother and Grandmother

Betty Fisher Griffin, 67, of Troutville, Va., formerly of Trumbull, died on October 26 surrounded by her family. Born in Bridgeport on November 14, 1937, she was a daughter of Norman and Eleanor Wilson Fisher.

 Survivors include six children, Dennis Griffin of Newtown, Joan Parmelee and her husband, Dr David Parmalee, of Guilford, Patrick Griffin of Danbury, Edward Griffin and his wife, Laurie, of Trumbull, Michael Griffin of Seymour, and Robert Griffin and his wife, Lisa, of Shelton; a brother, Jack Fisher and his wife, Linda, of Florida; seven grandchildren, Weston, Dana, Kyle, Connor, Amber, Mackenzi, and Emily; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John R. Griffin.

She was a loving, hardworking mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by all.

All funeral services will be private.
