DANBURY — The Western Connecticut State University psychology department is holding a “Psych Matters” series of psychology forums, invited lectures, and research presentations throughout the 2005-2006 academic year.

The events, all free and open to the public, will be held at the university’s midtown campus, 181 White Street.

On Friday, November 4, at 4 pm, in the Student Center Theater, Dr Mary Crawford, director of women’s studies at the University of Connecticut, and Michelle Kaufman, a UConn graduate student, will discuss their recent Fulbright-sponsored field study in Nepal. They went to Nepal to investigate sex trafficking and other forms of gender abuse.
