To the Editor:

We are writing to endorse the Capeci Madzula Team for Office of First Selectman and Board of Selectmen.

The list of accomplishments and public service for Jeff include Board of Selectmen and years of service on the Legislative Council and he is the current chairman. John has served on the Conservation Commission and two terms on the Board of Finance and he is the current chairman.

John is an attorney and his background includes contract negotiation, budgetary analysis and land use experience. John has demonstrated his ability to manage budgets and interaction with Town Department Leaders and has handled Board of Finance matters with transparency.

John is our son, raised and educated in Newtown and will continue to work for the betterment of Newtown. He is concerned about the future development of the Town, Fairfield Hills, the education of the children of Newtown, and the volume of traffic in town. He is also concerned about budget decisions and accountability for the residents of Newtown.

We are very proud of John and he has proven that he is dedicated, hard working and is deeply concerned about the future of Newtown. We ask that you join us in voting for the Capeci Madzula Team.
