Eunice C. Tobin

Eunice C. (Forno) Tobin, 74, of Trumbull died October 26 in her home.

She was the mother of Michael Tobin of Sandy Hook and the sister of Barbara Kolh of Newtown.

Mrs Tobin was born in Trumbull and was a lifelong resident. She was a retired cafeteria worker at St Joseph High School and the Trumbull School System.

She was the widow of Jack B. Tobin.

In addition to her son and sister, survivors include another son, John R. Tobin of Bridgeport; three daughters, Eileen Bevans of Trumbull, Patricia Boucher of West Haven, and Susan Soule of Trumbull; one brother, Albert Forno of Trumbull; ten grandchildren, Michael Bevans, John Tobin, II, Brian Tobin, Michael Tobin, Jr, Michele Tomasi, David Boucher, Laura Boucher, Jason Soule, Christopher Soule and Scott Soule; one great-grandchild, Danielle Tomasi; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Rose Santurbano, and her brother, Francis “Buddy” Forno.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 29 at 9:15 am in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, and at 10 am in St Catherine of Siena Church. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, October 28 from 4 to 8 pm.
