To My Neighbors in Newtown,

The Newtown Legislative Council will have a large turnover with the upcoming election so there will be many first-time candidates to choose from. As a follow-up to my introduction letter in The Bee on September 28th I wanted to highlight a little more about my professional experience and how it will help me to step into the Legislative Council and hit the ground running.

Working in supply chain management for more than 35 years, I’ve held various roles where I was responsible for overseeing multi-million dollar budgets including the management of domestic and international transportation carriers. As part of this responsibility, I was charged with the negotiation of the carrier contracts while managing a transportation budget of over $4 million annually.

As recognition of my fiscal effectual results, I was appointed project manager charged with implementation of a software system with an $8 million budget that I completed on time and under budget. It is this skill set that I feel qualifies me and sets me aside from other candidates seeking to serve the residents of Newtown.

As a member of the Legislative Council, we are responsible vetting budgets and expenditures which in my career have done so effectively.

I would be honored to represent you on the Legislative Council in District 3 and respectfully ask for your vote along with my fellow District 3 candidates.
