To the Editor:

I am supporting Barney Molloy for the Board of Finance, because of his financial and management experience and his belief that decisions must be the result of a public process.

Barney has served on municipal boards and been involved with nonprofit organizations throughout his career. He’s always a true professional, taking the time to research the issues, explain the review process, and what a board’s responsibilities are. He’s never dismissed the public’s concerns and has always been consistent and fair.

Barney’s commitment to public participation, insistence that information should be readily available to all residents, and that decision-making needs to be transparent are exactly what Newtown needs! Please join me in voting for Barney Molloy for Board of Finance on November 7th.
