Masonicare Sponsoring Bereavement Support Group

Masonicare Home Health & Hospice is sponsoring a free, seven-session Bereavement Support Group to be held at Masonicare at Newtown during the months of November and December.

Designed to help individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one, the support group will bring people together for grief education and to share their stories and offer support to one another. The group will also discuss how to cope with loss during the upcoming holiday season.  

Refreshments will be served at each session.

The Bereavement Support Group is open to all and will meet on Monday mornings from 10 am to noon in the Nutmeg Room at Masonicare at Newtown, 139 Toddy Hill Road. The dates are as follows:  November 5, 12, 19, and 26, and December 3, 10 and 17. 

The group will be facilitated by Anne-Marie Davenport, MDiv, spiritual coordinator for Masonicare Home Health & Hospice. Preregistration is required, and group members are asked to attend all seven sessions, if possible.
