Warrant
Police said that on the evening of October 19, they responded to a report of a dispute at the Mobil gas station at 62 Church Hill Road and after investigating, they learned that a warrant was pending for one of the people involved in the conflict.
Police said that they then charged Thomas Jackman, 22, of 19 Fairchild Drive with fifth-degree larceny, identity theft, illegal possession of another personâs identification, and credit card theft.
Police had investigated a July 19 complaint, resulting in those charges.
After processing, police released Jackman on $25,000 bail for a November 6 court appearance.
Church Hill Accident
Police said that motorist Maureen Reidy, 40, of 38 Hoseye Coach Road, who was driving a 2011 GMC Acadia SUV westward on Church Hill Road, came to a stop at about 2:13 pm on October 16 in preparing to make a left turn into the driveway for Caraluzziâs Food Market, after which the GMC was struck from behind by westbound motorist Roger Kniskern, 64, of New Fairfield, who was driving a 2007 Toyota Yaris sedan.
Both drivers were transported to Danbury Hospital, police said. Kniskern received a written warning for following too closely, according to police.
