Fairfield Prep has announced members of its senior class who earned recognition in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Newtown resident Kevin Culligan was named a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist, and Sandy Hook resident Nicholas A. Martinez, among other students at the school, was commended in the program. The students were honored based on the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test taken in their junior year.

Campus Notes can be submitted by e-mail to Eliza@thebee.com, faxed to 203-426-5169, or dropped off at The Bee’s 5 Church Hill Road office by 4 pm on Tuesday afternoons. Notification from the student’s school is required for each submission.
