To the Editor:

I endorse George Ferguson as a future member of the Legislative Council.

He is extremely intelligent, honest, and hardworking. I have worked with George for three years on the Conservation Commission and find him an excellent strategist working for the best interests in Newtown, especially concerning education and open space, which he understands will limit tax increases.

George has worked with me writing successful grants, establishing Al’s Trail, a ten-mile trail through the center of Newtown, and in planting trees on town land.
