To the Editor,

 It is my pleasure to endorse Lillian Bittman for the Board of Education. I have known Lillian for over six years as the parent volunteer who runs the school newspapers and as a friend. I believe that Lillian possesses the skills and talents that make her qualified to be on this board.

 As a parent volunteer in Lillian’s school newspaper, I recognized early on that Lillian was a natural leader, an excellent communicator, competent in her field, and a person of integrity. I witnessed her interactions with parents, students, and school administrators and found her to be well respected by all as she displayed a high level of professionalism and intuition in working with others.

 I believe that Lillian will be an excellent member of the Board of Education and I encourage voters to take another look at this candidate’s appeal as a “breath of fresh air.”
