To the Editor:
Lillian Bittman is an extraordinarily professional business woman who has and will continue to bring sound business skills, intelligence, compassion and integrity to Newtownâs Board of Education. With her strong corporate background and managerial experience, I am confident that Mrs Bittman will continue to be a strong asset and a proactive member to Newtownâs Board of Education and I am proud to endorse her for Newtownâs Board of Education.
As our rapidly growing community continues to experience challenges such as tax issues, budget cuts, divided community, overcrowded schools, and maintaining academic excellence and academic accreditation, among others, members of Newtownâs Board of Education must not only be skilled and experienced professionals to recognize these challenges and know how to strategically plan for and execute a course of action that would be mutually beneficial for everyone in the community, but members of the board must also possess the qualities of integrity, commitment, compassion for our community and effective communicational skills. I believe Mrs Bittman exemplifies these qualities and more and is well qualified for Newtownâs Board of Education. I admire Mrs Bittman as an experienced professional with a clear vision of where she wants Newtown to go today and where it should go in the long-term to ensure a better academic balance for our community.
With proud enthusiasm, I support Lillian Bittman for Newtownâs Board of Education and I hope the residents of Newtown will realize how much more can be done and will be done with Mrs Bittman on the Board of Education.
