Toddy Hill Road

About 2 am October 18, motorist Christine Dvornek, 21, of Danbury, who was driving a 2005 Hyundai Elantra eastward in fog near 159 Toddy Hill Road, crested a hill and then attempted to slow to turn left, but the auto went into a skid and went off the right side of the road, striking several objects and then becoming lodged against a tree, police said.

Police issued Dvornek a written warning for traveling too fast for conditions.

Ford Vs Toyota

About 3:15 pm October 18, motorist Jana Draper, 63, of Brookfield, who was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry southward on South Main Street, stopped to make a left turn into the driveway at 97 South Main Street, police said.

Southbound motorist Stephen Tarzanin, 19, of Monroe, who was driving a 2006 Ford Focus, then struck the Toyota from behind, police said.

There were no injuries. Tarzanin received an infraction ticket for following too closely, police said.

 

Berkshire Road

Police report a two-car accident at the intersection of Berkshire Road and Toddy Hill Road about 2 pm October 19.

Motorist Jason Kostecki, 16, of 11 Founders Lane, who was driving a 2005 Dodge Neon southward on Berkshire Road, stopped for traffic conditions, police said.

Southbound motorist Vincent Deangelis, 16, of 12 Rockywood Drive, who was driving a 1996 Infiniti Q-45, then struck the Dodge from behind, police said. Police issued Deangelis a written warning for following too closely.
