WOODBURY — New Morning Natural & Organic invites the public to join a celebration of the fall harvest.

The store will present its fifth annual community appreciation evening on Thursday, November 8, from 6 to 8 pm. The event will be at Old Woodbury Town Hall, at the corner of Main Street South and Mountain Road.

The free event will include a festive wine and cheese tasting featuring robust local and organic wines, compliments of Hopkins Vineyard & Organic Vintages. There will be raw, certified organic cheddar cheeses from Vermont’s Neighborly Farms, hearth-baked breads from Bantam Bread Company, and hot organic, fair traded beverages from Coffee-Tea-Etc.

Live music will be by The Funky Butt Jazz Duo with Connecticut State Troubadour Pierce Campbell.

Also, special guest Bob Wall of the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) will share information about support for a range of innovative programs and educational activities for local Connecticut residents, communities, and businesses.
