Bird Walk For Beginners

DERBY — Kellogg Environmental Center, at 500 Hawthorne Avenue (Route 34), will present its next monthly bird walk for beginning birders and families on Saturday, November 6. The informal program will run from 9 to 11 am, and there is no charge.

The leisurely stroll will have participants watching for birds who are usually camouflaged by spring and summer foliage. This is also a good time of year to catch sight of hawks soaring through the sky as they migrate south. For details, call 734-2513.
