To The Editor:

It is with highest regard that we urge our fellow Newtowners to re-elect Paul Lundquist to Legislative Council, District 1.

Paul has served on the Legislative Council for the past six years and has truly been a difference maker for the Town of Newtown. Having lived in Newtown for the past 19 years, Paul is deeply rooted in our town and genuinely believes in the difference that one person can make. In addition, he has inspired and led many friends and neighbors to become more informed, engaged, and involved in town and community activities.

Paul is a transformational leader who inspires those around him to do and be better. He has the ability to unify a room, yet is not afraid to stand alone for what he believes is the right thing.

Paul has a clearly defined vision for dealing with the potential state revenue shortfall that entails a fiscally conservative trifold prioritization of education, public safety, and road maintenance.

At every turn, Paul is humble, genuine, and vested in doing what is right for Newtown. His decisions are thoughtful and he is a man of true integrity.
