St Rose Plans Communion Breakfast

Noted speaker and author Antoinette Bosco will be the featured speaker at the St Rose of Lima Benefit Communion Breakfast to be held on Saturday, November 4, in the parish hall.

The breakfast, which is open to the entire community, will be held after the 8 am Mass in the church.

Ms Bosco is a syndicated columnist for Catholic News Service and the author of eight books. The latest, due to be published in January 2001, is Shaken Faith – Hanging In There When God Seems Far Away. Ms Bosco, who lives in Brookfield, is a former executive editor of The Litchfield County Times. An award-winning writer, her work has appeared in Woman’s Day, The Ladies Home Journal, Parade, and Readers Digest.

The breakfast, catered by David Grant Caterers, will begin at approximately 8:45 am, following the 8 am Mass. Tickets are $15. Call 270-1318 to register by October 28 or for more information.
