Pamela Ellen Blood and Drew Barrett Brown were joined in marriage on August 19 at their home in Danbury with Justice of the Peace Deborah O. Stiewing of Newtown officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Donald Blood of Newtown and the late Frances Blood.
The groom is the son of Georgette Brown of Danbury and the late Gilbert Brown.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a white beaded lace dress with a pearl-halter neckline. She carried a bouquet of white and balm dendrobium orchids.
The matron of honor was the brideâs sister, Patricia Blood, and Pamela Graul was bridesmaid.
The brideâs nieces, Courtney and Amanda, were flower girls.
The groomâs best man was his brother, Keith Brown, and Gilbert Brown was usher.
A summer yard reception immediately followed the ceremony.
Following a trip to Turks and Caicos, the couple is residing in Danbury.
