Malcolm E. Morgan

Malcolm E. Morgan, 67, a retired power technician for Western Electric Company and AT&T, died October 22, at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Joan (Feher) Morgan of Blue Spruce Drive, Newtown.

He was born in Cortland, N.Y., on October 3, 1932, son of the late Charles and Luella (Dodd) Morgan. He had been employed by Western Electric and AT&T for 36 years.

A resident of Newtown for 35 years, he had previously lived in Norwalk and Redding.

During the Korean War, he served in the US Army, retiring from USAR in 1962. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

His hobbies included fine woodworking, landscaping and mobile home traveling.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Kevin Crader of Buckingham, Penn.; three daughters, Luanne Mead of Norwalk, Roslyn Warwick of Limestone, N.Y., and Karen Redinger of Litchfield; two grandchildren, Kyle and Benjamin Morgan; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved Aster Morgan. He was predeceased by a son, Bucky Morgan.

Private funeral services were held October 25 at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
