Reasons To Vote for Trump And The Republicans

To The Editor:

1. Republicans are better on inflation and taxes — Trump left office with an inflation rate of 1.4%, peak inflation around 2% and cumulative inflation over his four years of about 9%. Presently, under Biden/Harris the inflation rate is about 2.5%, the peak was over 9% and the cumulative inflation is approaching 25% for their four years! That 25% increase is just like a tax on every American citizen regardless of income.

2. Trump is better on the economy. Previous to Covid, the economy was roaring under Trump with the above superior inflation numbers. Why was this so? Because Trump believes in opening the spigot on all forms of energy and cutting regulation. The greater the supply of energy, the lower the inflation. Cutting regulations reduces citizens’ costs and concomitantly strengthens the economy.

3. Republicans respect citizenship. With 15-20 million illegal aliens having crossed the southern border, their demands for support crowd out US citizens and their children at hospitals, schools, and the real estate market. Citizenship is also diluted and or denigrated when Democrats fight to keep noncitizens on the voter rolls. Presently, the BidenHarris DOJ is suing Virginia and Alabama to prevent them from following their state laws that require the removal of noncitizens. There is only one reason to keep noncitizens on the voter rolls, cheating.

4. Republicans are better on foreign policy. There were no new wars during the Trump administration and the military under Trump’s leadership destroyed the ISIS Caliphate in weeks. Since Biden/Harris precipitously left Afghanistan and abandoned Bagram Air Base, wars have popped up in the Middle East and Ukraine, and BidenHarris can’t even prevent the Iran-backed Houthis from blocking the Red Sea and access to the Suez Canal.
