To the Editor:

It is my pleasure to endorse Jordana Bloom for the Legislative Council. I have been lucky enough to know Jordana for several years, and I know that she cares deeply about this town. She has raised a family here while working and maintaining an active presence in the community.

During Jordana’s first term on the Legislative Council, I have been able to watch her in action, and I have admired her ability to consider both sides of an issue. She listens to everyone who she can get to talk to her and is able to understand their point of view in a unique way. Jordana has lived an interesting life and has worn many different hats. I believe that gives her the rare ability to empathize with many different types of people. She has been a mother, an employee, a business owner, a stranger in a foreign land, and many other things. That kind of life experience has given her depth and valuable insight.

I have always found her to be accessible and willing to listen, even when we were not in agreement. She is intelligent and organized and willing to put in the time to research an issue and listen to concerns. For that reason, I hope you will join me in voting to return Jordana Bloom to the Legislative Council on November 5.
