Fraser Woods Montessori School hosted its annual Fall Family Festival on Saturday, October 17. The event was open to the community and it offered a children’s book fair, crafts, vendors, baked goods, games, face painting, and pony rides.

As part of the Fall Family Festival schedule of events, the school also sponsored its annual 5K Walk/Run on the Fairfield Hills campus earlier in the day. The 5K Walk/Run was open to school families and members of the public.

The 5K Walk/Run welcomed runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. It began at 8:30 am, with an announcement by school Head Myriam Woods and school parent Linette Navarette, accompanied by her son Leo. Following the race, school families continued on to the school’s Fall Family Festival, where a Kids Fun Run was also held for all grades on the school's sports field.

Fraser Woods is a nonprofit organization Montessori school for children 18 months through eighth grade. School tours are available on request. The school is at 173 South Main Street.
