A Great Time At The Movies

To the Editor:

We had to wait a while for the start of the movie.  It seemed that the free popcorn developed a line from the concession stand, across the lobby and down the side hall.  The wait was well worth it.

We sat with 181 other attendees who were laughing uproariously along with us. We did find the tombstone with Cary Grant’s real name on it! The fact that a 1944 movie can still do that to us jaded viewers is a testament to the great movie selections made by the Cultural Arts Commission and espe-cially Jen Rogers.

They have Young Frankenstein coming up, followed by Breakfast at Tiffany’s and to top it off, the Sound of Music sing-along.  Thanks for all the effort and thought that has been put into this.  We will check to see if more free popcorn is in the offing.

Practice random acts of kindness.
