Working Together To Help Others

Team Newtown is holding a food drive. As our Democratic candidates go out campaigning this weekend, meeting the voters, and discussing the issues that confront the town, they will be accepting food donations for the Newtown Food Pantry.

This concept of volunteerism and teamwork is similar to the day spent a few weeks ago when candidates and their supporters cleaned up the litter from a number of Newtown streets. It is what Team Newtown is all about — working together to help others and improve the town. When candidates knock on your door, they will gladly accept cans or unopened packaged food. You are also welcome to drop off these items from October 24 to 31 at the collection box on the front porch of: Newtown Democratic Headquarters, 111 Church Hill Road, Sandy Hook.
