Wendy Davenson: When my husband was Diaper Man. When my kids were little my husband dressed up as Diaper Man, and actually went out with them.
Tina Mahoney: A few years ago, my grandson (who was 5 at the time) was a train. His father and mother made the train out of cardboard boxes. It was really cut and inventive.
Jay and Joan Topham: Joan: Instead of a costume we made a miniature coffin, exactly like a mummy case, for the kids to come in and get candy from. Jay: I made it out of wood. Joan: And one time a kid came in dressed as a skeleton, so we had him get in it.
Rebecca Pearson: An over-easy egg costume.
Mary Peason: A homemade computer. Life-size, it was an adult costume, and they made it.
Jenny Dorso: My friend Caitlin had a fat suit with a ballerina costume on.
