Two Neighbors With One Vision

The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center and The Mark Twain House will present a program on “Stowe and Twain: Effecting Social Change,” Thursday, October 29, at 7 pm, at C.H. Booth Library.

Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe, two literary greats with ties to Connecticut, used their talents to address the social ills of 19th Century society. Find out why The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Uncle Tom’s Cabin are still relevant in today’s world.

This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Reservations are requested and can be done online at CHBoothLibrary.org; or by calling the library at 426-4533.
