To the Editor:

I would like to add my (registered Democratic) voice to those supporting George Ferguson (a gentleman from the other party) for the Legislative Council in District 1.

George and I have worked together on the Newtown Conservation Commission for several years. We don’t always see eye-to-eye or agree on issues, yet we have been able to get a great deal accomplished working (and arguing) together with humor and collegiality. George is a regular guy who is generous with his time. He is smart and able to think analytically, often thinking creatively “outside the box” and he has a capability for coming up with innovative solutions.

Your vote for George Ferguson on November 3 will be very good for the people of Newtown.
