New Senior VP Named At TÜVRheinland

Newtown-based TÜVRheinland has named Deep Krishnan its senior vice president of business stream industrial services. Mr Krishnan was formerly the vice president of US operations for TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc.

In his new position, Mr Krishnan will manage North American business development for the industrial sector. He will oversee strategy and business development in three business units: Unified Testing Services, Inc; Non-Destructive Testing Services, Inc; and Pressure Equipment and Material Technology Services. 

Simultaneously, he will manage strategy and business development for the company’s North American Mobility Business Stream, which includes the Automotive and Guided Transport Systems (railway and transit) Divisions.

Mr Krishnan joined TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc, in 1996 as a regional sales manager. He was promoted to national director of sales in 2003 and became vice president of US operations in 2006. During his time with the company, he helped quadruple sales in a little over a decade and, in 2008, was involved in the acquisition of two material testing services companies: Unified Testing Services, Inc, and Non-Destructive Testing Services, Inc.

Mr Krishnan has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from City University in London, England, a master of business administration from the Cranfield School of Management in Cranfield, England, and a diploma in geology and electronics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
