A Successful Food Drive

To the Editor:

On Saturday, October 17, we observed “World Fair Day.” Newtown Woman’s Club GFWC, Inc, sponsored a collection for the Salvation Army and FAITH Food Pantries.

We are so grateful to the many generous customers and to Matt Fox, the manager of Stop & Shop.

Thank you to the club members who, despite the cold and wind, remained outside to collect and sort donations.
