What character from literature would you like to be for Halloween?
Alana Bennison, Booth childrenâs librarian: I love the pluckiness of Pippi Longstocking; or Nancy Drew, if I was picking as a child who grew up in the 50s.
Janet Woycik, Booth Library director: I am Mary Poppins every year. Mostly, because I have the shoes⦠and sheâs optimistic, so children love her.
Kim Weber, Booth librarian: Becky Thatcher, from Tom Sawyer. Sheâs kind of fresh and sassy.
Margaret Brown, Booth young adult librarian: Hermione, from Harry Potter. Sheâs an outspoken woman, and I like that.
Shane Murphy: Peter, from the Narnia series. I like the talking animals and a world with less rules.
Kayla Christeson: I would be Gatsby. I really enjoyed the book and the movie. Heâs a very interesting character.
Lloyd Ferencik: Edgar Allen Poe. Heâs an excellent writer, literary â and macabre.
