Santa is coming to Newtown again to deliver gifts door to door while riding a fire truck.

2023 delivery dates have been scheduled for December 13, 18-20 and 22-23.

The event is open to all residents of Newtown.

Registration opens at 8 am Monday, October 23. The link to register will be posted on Newtown Hook & Ladder’s social media accounts and website (nhlfd.com).

Note, however, that residents of the Hawleyville district will need to schedule visits through hawleyvillefire.com.

This is a first come first serve event; registration must be done electronically. Registration closes November 12, or once all slots are filled.

Gifts are to be delivered to Newtown Hook & Ladder firehouse, 12 Church Hill Road, between 6:30 and 8 pm Monday, November 20. Small-size gifts are requested, as Santa has to fit many gifts on his truck.

A donation of $25 per gift is also requested, to benefit the participating fire companies. Payment is due on November 20, and can be done in cash, check, credit/debit card, Venmo or PayPal.
