Newtown Neighbors & Newcomers (NNN) is planning a casual get-together to acknowledge the end of summer and celebrate the return of autumn and a new school year.

All are invited to join NNN members on Sunday, October 23, between 2 and 4 pm, when they will be connecting casually at Reverie Brewing Company, 57-B Church Hill Road.

NNN representative Stephanie Barnes said she and others are “very much looking forward to getting everyone together again, as well as meeting any Newcomers to town.

“Additionally, there is often live music on Sunday afternoons, which we look forward to enjoying. Going forward the plan is to schedule these gatherings at various times and places to make it work for everyone at some point,” she added.

Newtown Neighbors and Newcomers is a Community group that creates social occasions and links groups together to create a place where people can get together and meet their neighbors, and build new relationships within the community.

As its name reflects, the organization welcomes both new residents and those who have lived in town for any amount of time.
