Newtown High School's football team invites the community to join it for the annual Intercept Cancer Game to benefit the American Cancer Society when the Nighthawks host Danbury at Blue & Gold Stadium on October 25. Kickoff is set for 7 pm.

Football players and parents have been selling t-shirts around town and will accept donations and sell pink items such as shirts and necklaces during the game.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. No charge for senior citizens and those with military ID.
