To the Editor:

I am writing to endorse Joan Plouffe for reelection to the Police Commission for Newtown. I have been friends with Joan for five years, and I know her to be a fiercely loyal and passionate advocate for the town. She is bright and resourceful, inquisitive and dogged, and is an incredible asset to the community. I am so proud to call her my friend and neighbor. Character matters, now more than ever. Please vote on November 5th and reelect Joan Plouffe to the Police Commission.
