Soccer Fundraiser A Success

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Newtown High School Boys Soccer Program, we’d like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of our Get-Together and Raffle at Pub25 on Sunday, October 16.

We sincerely appreciate our community’s support of NHS student athletes.

We’d like to thank the following businesses that made donations: Spa Mianra, Avance Esthetiques; Salon Michele; Sabrina Style; Sandy Hook Wine & Liquor; Countryside Veterinary Hospital in Shelton; Yoga Dimensions; Figs; Toro; Sal e Pepe; Hollandia Nurseries in Bethel; Extreme Fitness & Martial Arts, Sweet Mango, Good Ideas, and A Bed of Roses.

A special thank you to the folks at Pub25, to Kurt Popick and his staff, who made our event not only possible, but incredibly fun!

We’re also grateful to the many dedicated parents who donated both time and resources to this effort.

Finally, a shout-out to our boys (who are having an awesome year!): We know how hard you work in class and on the field — we’re proud of you, and we thank you for the joy and inspiration you bring us every day.
