Bee Coloring Contest Winners Announced
Winners for the two age groups in The Newtown Beeâs Special Fall Coloring Contest were announced this week.
Norah Kolb, 7, won for the age group of 5 to 8 by coloring the Mt Pleasant Hospital For Animals page that depicted dogs, cats, and their human caretakers at the hospital.
Emily Silber, 11, won for the age group of 9 to 12 yeas of age by coloring the Once Upon a Child page that depicted shoppers at the store.
All contest entrants were asked to choose one or more of four pictures to color, fill in the coupon for each picture colored, and drop it off at one of the four local contest entry locations.
Both Emily and Norah received four tickets to a movie or movies of their choice at Edmond Town Hall and four certificates for popcorn and soda to use with their tickets.
Entrants who earned honorable mention for their coloring abilities in the 5- to 8-year-old category are Liam OâConnell for his coloring of the Everything Newtown page, Emily Paltauf for her coloring of the Once Upon A Child page, and Caroline Mahoney for her coloring of the Lathrop School of Dance page.
Entrants who earned honorable mention in the 9- to 12-year-old category are Libby Poseno for her coloring of the Lathrop School of Dance page, Cora Kneen for her coloring of the Everything Newtown page, and Michael Cotton for his coloring of the Mt Pleasant Hospital for Animals page.
